What are the replacement parts required for this air purifier?
There is no maintenance or parts to replace for three years on all Air Oasis air purifiers. Other units have costly filters to replace every two to three months or UV lamps to replace annually.
What is the average energy cost to run this air purifier?
Many air purifiers on the market will use 100 Watts or more of electricity. Most Air Oasis units use less than 45 Watts saving you money and saving the environment every day.
Is the Air Oasis made of quality materials?
Air purifiers, like most products of today, are primarily made of cheap plastics. Air Oasis air purifiers are made with aluminum metal housings, metal internal brackets and other high quality parts and materials. We believe in the quality of our product so much, that when it's time to replace the AHPCO Cell we will add two more years to the already three year warranty if you let us replace the cell for you.
What is the difference between HEPA filters and the Air Oasis technology?
HEPA filters are loud because they must use powerful fans to pull air through the filters. Air Oasis purifiers are ultra quiet. HEPA filters use much more electricity as well, due to the need for a powerful fan. Replacing the filters every couple of months is a nuisance and the cost can add up quickly. Since they don't usually cover a very large area you will find yourself change filters in multiple units multiple times a year. How do UV lights hold up?

These lamps still require the air to pass by the lamp in order to clean the air. They will have zero effect on surfaces the light does not shine on. They also have no affect on odors. Do heat sterilizers work?
Air purifiers / sterilizers that use heat to clean air still require that the air passes through the unit to be cleaned. They use higher amounts of electricity, cover small areas and do not sanitize surfaces or attack odors at their source like the Air Oasis purifiers will.
